Sylvia Fafali Orou (Ms) is the founder of Faivich Company; manufacturers and distributors of cleaning agents, skincare and healthcare products. She is a chemist by profession, very passionate about health, people development, creating civic consciousness and has a keen eye for administration. She graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and the Graduate School of Governance and Leadership. As a focused professional, the values which drive her are compassion, adaptability, leadership and loyalty. These will help improve and support people’s lives; adapt easily to changing situations and adopting new innovations; lead and be a team player in a group to create the right synergy for effective collaboration and good communication; while staying true to the values of the organizations she represents in her life and daily activities. As a part-time consultant and having worked in countries such as Togo, Benin, Ivory Coast, and Sierra Leone, Sylvia has vast experience in programming, capacity strengthening, advocacy, strategy and organizational development among others. She sees herself as an organizational coach and youth mentor around transformational leadership. Her many years of experience in the field of science, administration and health have sharpened her curiosity and developed her affinity for finding solutions and making things work. Her hobbies include computing, watching TV (documentaries and movies), problem-solving, volunteering, beverage making/cooking, interacting and paying attention to people’s views and needs. Sylvia loves to volunteer as she believes strongly that there is more joy in giving than there is in receiving.
