Mr. Tsonam Akpeloo is currently the Accra regional chair of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI).Tsonam Akpeloo-An award-winning entrepreneur with over 12years leadership experience. He is the Founder and CEO of Suku Technologies ltd and also the Founder of Techcom Visions ltd; a leading technology solution companies in Ghana with clients in over six countries. Tsonam created the eDuBoost project to build world-class technology facilities for schools in Ghana. Over 2,200 pupils are currently benefiting directly from the computer integrated learning environment in their schools. Through his SUKUfarms and the SUKUPay initiatives, he has signed a contract with the Produce Buying Company (PBC) ltd to integrate technology into the farming practices of over 400,000 cocoa farmers in six regions of Ghana. Tsonam was the Co-coordinator of the MyVisionProject (MVP) under the Databank Foundation in partnership with the British Council. He was also the Executive Producer of MyVisionProject TV series; the first entrepreneurial TV pseudo reality show in west-Africa. He chaired the technical committee of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission in Abuja responsible for the development of an E-commerce platform on ECOBIZ for the west-African Sub-region. He is a Global Shaper and the Founding Curator of the Ho Hub of the Global Shapers Council of the World Economic Forum. He is a champion and an Executive of Africa 2.0 Ghana chapter. Tsonam also serves as a Champion for the Innovation Prize for Africa in Ghana. He also serves as the country representative of the EiC Cooperation. In 2014, he became the youngest ever elected honorable member of African Union’s (AU) Economic, Social and the Cultural Council (ECOSOCC), where he has responsibility over youth and Agenda 2063. He has been appointed by the head of the ECOSOCC organ as the AU ECOSOCC Youth Advisor, in which capacity, he engaged over 40 African presidents and leaders in order to bridge the discount between the African youth and the Officialdom. He was featured in a documentary on CNN sponsored by the Mayor of the city of Atlanta on the business relations between Africa and the USA. He is a Mandela Washington Fellow under the YALI initiative where he received President Obama’s grant Prize for young African Leaders. He is an Alibaba eFounders initiative fellow, where he received his e-commerce training from the Alibaba Business School in China. He is also UNDP Africa Youth Coneckt fellow and Cordes Leadership fellow.
