Homefoods was conceived on a kitchen table on August 4th, 1995 and incorporated on August 5th, 1995 with a focus to engage in processing and packaging of various types of ethnic foods, specifically for the export market. Our company is also engaged in the importation of partly processed food items from all over the world for re-processing and packaging, to suit both domestic and international markets. Our AGRO business is sustainable based on a reliable and transparent value chain, fair prices and concern for environmental, social and cultural values. Our core business is linked to improving Nutrition, Health, Agriculture and Productivity. Homefoods supply chain starts from the farm gate with more than 5,000 cooperative members as women and counting.
Felicia Twumasi, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Homefoods Ltd is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana and the Harvard Business School, Boston, U.S.A. She is also a graduate and member of Stanford Institute of Innovation in Developing Economies, SEED.
